• 1 First touch

Players will spend time focusing on improving their first touch technique. First touch in football development is vital in all young player’s development.

• 2 Running with the ball

Players will spend time on running with the ball during training to improve on their accuracy and scoring ability which is vital for game training.

We at WFG throughout the 4 terms a season aim to cover as many football related aspects that are the main fundamental needs to improve each player within our academy group.

First touch / 1v1 / Striking the ball, Running with the ball

• 3 Absences

In the event a player is sick and unable to attend academy, parents/carers must give a minimum of 6-12 hours’ notice in order to receive a credit. Parents/carers must either call or text Nick.

If a player is absent and has not notified WFG they will not receive a credit. It is important to notify WFG of any absences prior to the commencement of academy.

If you have a credit a make-up session will be organised by Nick or either rolled over to the next school holiday camp or following term.

• 4 TeamApp

If you haven’t already downloaded TeamApp please do so. This is one of our key methods of communication and enables all parents/carers and players to keep up to date with any information regarding WFG academy.

TeamApp is available as a free download on iTunes and Google Play Store.
